Sam Mathius
Owner & Operator

Sam grew up in Southern Louisiana and brought his passion for southern, cajun, and creole food to New England. While he’s been living in the Boston area for nearly two decades, the cuisine of his childhood is something he’s always been proud of. 

 

Whether he’s cooking a huge pot of gumbo for friends on a chilly fall night or organizing a crawfish boil for dozens of friends in the summer, bringing people together through food is something he’s passionate about. Now, he wants to bring those flavors and experiences to New England with Sam’s Southern Food.

Ingredients 

While we do work with suppliers from Louisiana for key ingredients, we try to source as much as possible from within 150 miles of Boston. 

 

Working with local farms and vendors gives us the chance to painstakingly search for only the highest quality ingredients while supporting our friends and neighbors. It’s all about the integrity of what we serve up to you.
